Course Overview

Become a yogi, relax and recharge on this peaceful yoga holiday. You may want to get more "local" and know the city intimately by staying with a fun-loving, warm Indian family on this holiday. Alternately, depending on the size of your group, you could choose from our other accommodation options of staying in a furnished 'serviced-apartment' and dishing up your own food or stay at a beautiful hotel (3* and above).

Course Includes:

  • 4 weekends of Yoga practise sessions, 2 hours each day. Total, 16 hours of learning
  • Yoga mats will be provided
  • 1 fun celebration dinner on the last day of the workshop

  • All advice on the local area, places to visit, where to eat and activities

Am I suitable to enroll?

  • This course is meant for anyone who wants to take a break, recharge and learn something useful, new and fun. It is suitable for all levels from absolute beginners to advanced learners, irrespective of age and fitness levels.
  • You will feel completely at ease in this friendly, emotionally safe environment, where learning is a joy, along with a small-group of like-minded people.
  • The minimum age for this course is 18 (if you are below 18, you must be accompanied by an adult)

What will I learn?

Above all, you will learn to relax (easier said than done!), bring balance to the mind and body through Pranayamas (regulated breathing techniques) and meditation (from introductory to advanced levels). You will learn different Asanas (postures) that help connect the mind, body and consciousness. These Asanas are known to increase flexibility, stretch and tone muscles and remove toxins from the body. You could also choose to pursue the spiritual path through various types of meditation.

What should I bring?

Please bring comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement. You could also bring along bottled water to drink.

  • You will be taught by experienced, certified Yoga gurus, who have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
  • They don't do this for a living but for their passion for Yoga, so rest assured, you will be in good hands.
